Sorry guys but this one is for ladies only!

The Sweetheart Run and Walk is entering its 8th year in 2009. This race is a great womens only event. The course is a 2 loop, rolling course on paved roads through Kent State-Stark Campus. Again this year Mizuno is proud to be our title sponsor and will be raffling off prizes as an extra incentive. The Sweetheart run and walk has grown to become one of Stark Counties most exciting events.

The race is located at Stark State in North Canton, Ohio and offers great parking and wonderful viewing for non participants and family members. Again this year we will be donating part of our proceeds back to the Stark County Cross Country Coaches Association. The SCCCCA gives out six scholarships each year to male and female high school runners in Stark County. What a great way to celebrate living an active and healthy lifestyle as a woman!

Race Day Registration & Packet Pick Up: 7:00AM

KSUDirections & Parking: Take Route 77 to the North Canton/Canal Fulton Exit, Go West on Portage St. to Frank Road, take a left on Frank and the campus will be on your left after two stoplights.

Pre-Race Packet Pick Up & Registration: Early packet pickup will be at Second Sole, located in Thursday’s Plaza in Belden Village 4667 Dressler Rd. NW Canton, OH 44718.

Pickup will be from noon to 8 pm on July 10th

Individual

  • $18 before July 10th at 2:00PM
  • $20 on race day.

Team Registration - There will be 2 person and 3 person teams. The cost of entering as a team is an additional $2 per individual. The times of your team will be added together, and the team with the fastest combined time will win. All team participants are still eligible for individual awards.

  • $20 per participant before July 10th at 2:00PM
  • $22 on race day.

 

Entry fee includes post race refreshments. Participants will also receive an official Sweetheart Run event shirt!
